Supportive Cancer Care Research Unit

 

The Supportive Cancer Care Research Unit is committed to the improvement of supportive care services provided to cancer patients and their families through research, and research transfer activities. The ongoing research carried out by the Unit significantly enhances the identification of supportive care needs of cancer patients and facilitates the development, evaluation, and coordination of supportive care services to help meet those needs.

Water Resources Environmental Information Systems Laboratory

  The Water Resources Environmental Information Systems Laboratory develops innovative tools for solving complex environmental engineering problems.
The lab focuses on the development and application of advanced state-of-the-art computer models to be used in computational hydraulics and hydrology supporting decision making for engineering design projects, contingency planning studies, and regulatory compliance support.

Corrosion Laboratory

  The lab provides experimental research facilities for faculty, research associates and graduate students, functions as a vehicle for the promotion of corrosion knowledge among university, industry and government and provides a service to industry in corrosion consulting and the examination and testing of corrosion-related problems. .

William J. McCallion Planetarium

  The William J. McCallion Planetarium was the first planetarium in Ontario to offer shows to the public. Our shows are geared toward educating the audience about the Earth and its relationship to the solar system and the rest of the Universe.
