Nursing Effectiveness, Utilization & Outcomes Research Unit

  The Nursing Effectiveness, Utilization and Outcomes Research Unit (NRU) is a collaborative project of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Nursing and McMaster University, School of Nursing that has been recognized internationally, nationally, and provincially for their comprehensive team approach to problem identification and resolution.

Power Research Laboratory

 

The Power Research Laboratory facilitates experimental research and development in electric power engineering and related areas. These activities improve service to the engineering community and foster increased interactions in the general area of electric power engineering.

Program for Educational Research and Development

 

The Program for Educational Research and Development is a component of the Academic Services unit of the Faculty of Health Sciences, dedicated to the advancement of research and scholarship in health sciences education in the faculty, the university and beyond.

Independence and Economic Security of the Older Population

 

The research program is designed to investigate a range of interconnected issues relating to the current and future independence and financial security of the elderly population of Canada.

Program in Policy Decision Making

  The Program in Policy Decision-Making, affiliated with the Centre for Health Policy Analysis, seeks to improve understanding of the public policy decision-making process and facilitate the uptake of research knowledge in policy decision-making environments.

Robotics and Manufacturing Research Laboratory

  The Robotics and Manufacturing Automation Laboratory is an extensively equipped facility for manufacturing automation research that features four industrial robots, a robotic hand, a 6-axis Force Sensor and a Computer Vision System.
