Broadcast Services at McMaster
Access to live television interviews
McMaster University offers local, national and international broadcast outlets immediate and easy access to a comprehensive list of academic experts with the use of its state-of-the-art camera facility.
Convenient campus location and booking times
Located in Room A110 of the DeGroote School of Business, the camera may be booked from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. With advance notice, arrangements may be made to accommodate news programming outside of normal business hours.
The service is free to broadcasters who use an expert from McMaster University, although regular line fees do apply. Television outlets may use the camera for guests from outside the university community for a reasonable fee.
Technical information
The camera is fibre-wired into Bell Broadcast Services and is available via a loop at Bell’s Toronto TOC.
