Expert available to discuss royal wedding

Hamilton, Ont. April 25, 2011—Paul S. Fritz, a professor emeritus in the Department of History, is available to discuss the royal wedding.

Fritz, an expert in British history, takes a contrarian view to attention surrounding the April 29 wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

“The hype around this wedding is crazy,” Fritz says. “It all seems to be designed to advance tourism and the sustenance of the royal family. It’s not warranted.”
