Week Series
Each year, the Office of Community Service-Learning and Civic Engagement at McMaster University organizes a series of service-learning trips that take place during reading week. From Hamilton to Mexico, Southern US to various Canadian cities, students spend their week volunteering as a way to learn more about specific social issues. Each trip has a learning theme that the group will explore through its service and also through several pre-trip training workshops. Past trips have included Vancouver (Environmental Sustainability), Miami (Immigrant Rights), Mexico (International Development) and many more.
Looking Closer Photography Assignment

document their trip with photographs that best represent that word. The photos are posted in an ONLINE EXHIBITION, created with the assistance of the McMaster Museum of Art.
