The MMA Reference Library houses the Museum’s modest collection of books, artist’s files and exhibition catalogues and is located in the lower level Education Gallery. The volunteer-run library has grown significantly in recent years thanks to generous donations. Its collection reflects and supports the McMaster Museum of Art Permanent Collection.
The MMA library is an outstanding resource for staff, students and researchers.

 

Museum Library Open Hours*:

Tuesday 11 am - 2 pm
Friday 11 am - 2 pm
Saturday 12 - 3 pm

*subject to availability of volunteers. We recommend calling to confirm.

 

Materials may not be removed from the reference library, but photocopying services are available.
Photocopying charges: 10 cents per page (30 page maximum)
Payment upon request. Copies ready for pick up at Reception Desk within 3 days.
