Support for Managers during the transition to Mosaic

It is rarely easy being a manager. When you are working hard to get today’s job done, it can be hard to get excited about future system improvements.  The Mosaic team is helping managers through this transition by providing tools and advice you can use to lead your team.

  • We will help you communicate Mosaic to your staff. We are pleased to send a project representative to meet with you and your team and explain Mosaic.  Alternately, we have a template PowerPoint presentation you can use yourself.
  • We will listen to your feedback about the new system. Whether there is some functionality you hope to see in the new system or you’re concerned that we may have overlooked an issue, we want to hear from you. We’ll give you advance notice of formal feedback opportunities. We are also open to less informal communication: email or call us.
  • We will keep you informed with a regular e-newsletter. Emailed to all TMG members, it is intended to keep you informed about what is happening. Previous issues are available online.
  • As the project progresses we will provide you with training on the new system that matches your needs (as well as training your staff).

In summary, Mosaic will be a big change for McMaster, and ultimately staff will have better tools to do their jobs. We recognize managers are busy so we are providing information, tools and assistance to reduce their burden and help ease the transition.
