Dear Dr. Lee:
  The responses in the 165 mmHg group averaged less than that of the 140 mmHg group because there were more myogenically responsive arteries in the 165 mmHg group.  We purposefully raised the pressure higher in the arteries that showed a myogenic response.  This agrees with our conclusion that a pressure stimulus is sensed as wall stress.
