     This is a very interesting presentation.  Why was there such a big difference in response to flow change between rat mesenteric resistance artery and mice carotid arteries?  I do not think the difference was due to the fact that you studied resistance arteries in the rat, and conducting elastic arteries in the mice.  As you know, previous studies in the carotid arteries from rabbit and rats have shown a similar type of response you have found in the rat mesenteric arteries.  Can you elaborate on the possible reason for the difference between the rat and mice results?
