When I arrived at McMaster as a first-year student, I wanted to play football and sleep, but every morning the same residence rep knocked on my door and woke me up to go do stuff. She was the most irritating person I knew – that’s what I thought in September 1997. In 2005, I felt differently, so I married her.
That’s my favourite student memory. This video shares others from current Mac students and they also talk about how a scholarship or bursary made a difference for them.
