McMaster Discovery Program

This past fall, we were privileged to participate in the McMaster Discovery Program as members of the Student Support Team. The Discovery Program provided adults in the community with the opportunity to receive a high-quality educational experience and enabled students of the Arts & Science Program to engage with the broader Hamilton community.

Our participation in the McMaster Discovery Program has profoundly affected our university experience, and being part of the Student Support Team was extremely eye-opening and rewarding. Along with the students in the course, we rediscovered the meaning of learning for its own sake, formed strong connections to our city, and built a unique and supportive classroom community.

Projects like the Discovery Program are made possible thanks to the President's Fund, a fund built by Mac's donors. We hope that you will decide to give to the President's Fund. We can tell you that, in our experience, McMaster's donors have a huge influence on our University.

Thank you for your consideration,

Bridget Steele, Emily Trudeau, Jackie Brown, and Jeremy Henderson
