Red Tags

In November, hundreds of RED TAGS are hung up around campus on all the things that wouldn’t be possible if not for the generous donations made by members of the McMaster community. Each day, donations are made to improve student experience at McMaster; whether it's the quiet study room you finish your paper in, the building you attend class in every day, or even the scholarship or bursary you received. Donations made to the university by students, alumni, friends, faculty and staff make the difference between a mediocre student experience and one that is world class, unique and special to each student.
All donations are integral to enhancing the student experience at Mac. Although some donations get more recognition than others, the RED TAGS are our chance to highlight the importance of all the charitable contributions made by our donors. So, as you’re walking through the halls of the Student Centre, working out at the Pulse, or studying in the libraries, take note of the RED TAGS adorning various objects, landmarks and buildings around the university and try to imagine what McMaster would be like without them.
