Senior Class Gift

Each year, graduating students are asked to contribute to the Senior Class Gift project to commemorate their time at McMaster University. In the past, projects have included lab equipment, bursaries, gardens and more. This year, we are looking to you to help us decide on this year’s Senior Class Gift Project. We have narrowed it down to a few options, but are open to ideas. Please click here to complete the poll.

The Graduating Class Good Advice Calendar Project

You have been at McMaster for four years and have learned many things, from the perfect place to study on campus to how to handle the stress of exams. We want to take all of your knowledge and share it with incoming students in the form of a calendar. You can provide your advice by filling out the form here, or tweet your advice and picture to @McMasterAlumni.

Meet Your Committee

The Senior Class Gift Committee is a group of student representatives from all parts of campus that meets to discuss the project on behalf of this year’s graduating class.

Cindy Chen – 3rd year Arts & Science student
I have been a part of the Senior Class Gift Committee since my first year. The committee’s work means a lot to me, because I benefit from alumni donor–funded scholarships and bursaries, and regularly use alumni–sponsored spaces like study rooms and the Student Centre. With everything that alumni donors have to offer current students like me, the Senior Class Gift Committee is how I pay it forward and say thank you!

Jonathan Emmanuel – 4th year Honours Life Sciences Student
Since I will be graduating in June 2013, I thought it would be a great idea to get involved in the Senior Class Gift Committee. Besides my involvement with the committee, I am also on the Social Executive Team for Science and the Co–President of Free The Children at McMaster. In addition, I also work at DeGroote School of Business as a Program Assistant for the BizX International Exchange Program.
