McMaster's researchers are working to improve our health, environment and communities through inquests into how we age, our nutrition and exercise habits, clean water resources, solar energy innovations, hybrid and electric car technologies and economic policy to name a few. Thanks to businesswoman and McMaster graduate Suzanne Labarge, McMaster has been given the resources to promote healthy aging and to share that knowledge on a national scale. A $10 million gift to promote optimal aging.

"The Drs. Jolie Ringash and Glen Bandiera Renaissance Award is for talented students who are having success already, but who want to go outside the box and bring expertise from other specialties into their own areas of study," said Jolie Ringash, who along with husband Glen Bandiera, will fund the award for the next five years.
John '49 and Helen Maxwell '48 were committed alumni who maintained a life long relationship with McMaster. John was one of the very few people in the world to hold and study the moon rocks brought back from the Apollo 11 mission. Their bequest to McMaster will ehance the student experience at McMaster enabling our students to reach beyond the stars.

The President's Club signifies a proud tradition of leadership and generosity and a shared commitment to excellence in McMaster's scholarship, research and teaching.
Membership is granted to individuals who make a minimum donation of $500 a year.
This year's annual thank you event celebrated 125 years of history and tradition, including McMaster's long tradition of philanthropy.

Named in honour of George Peel Gilmour, President of our University for two decades, the Gilmour Society recognizes a continued commitment to McMaster's mission.
The society recognizes individuals who make a gift of any amount under $500 for three consecutive years and longer.
