In order to understand the importance of annual gifts to the overall operation of McMaster, below are some specific examples of how gifts are applied. This list is not exhaustive, but rather illustrative.

Look what could be accomplished with help from donors to McMaster’s Annual Fund:

• Gifts of $50 could support bursaries, bring local speakers to campus, or provide tutoring to a student.
• Gifts of $100 enable students to present their research at national conferences, could replace a library keyboard, or provide support for the Writers in Residence Program.
• Gifts of $500 (or even five $100 gifts) provide students with electronic health journals, prepare two podcasts for a course, or support one of our brightest students in a case competition for a day.
• Gifts of $1,000 could purchase software to model financial markets, update important lab equipment, or fund important water research.

Remember, every dollar counts. Please renew your commitment to McMaster this year. Last year, with your help, the Annual Fund raised over $2 million for McMaster.
