Setting up or Removing Auto BCC in ThunderBird

 

Open ThunderBird. Click on Tools in the menu bar and select Account Settings…

 

Select the email account you wish to change. The plus sign beside the email account will change to a minus. Click on Copies & Folders.

 

Setting up Auto BCC
If you wish to automatically blind carbon copy another email address on every email you send, enter the information here. Put a check mark in Bcc these email addresses and enter the email address. You can separate multiple email addresses with a comma. Click on OK.

 

Removing auto BCC
If you wish to end the automatic blind carbon copy, simply remove the check mark and email address. Click on OK.

 

Click on File and select Exit. The changed setting will take effect the next time Thunderbird is opened.
