Palm 650 Setup
Please read the Treo 650 Smart Phone booklet before installation. Please note that you are advised to install the software provided on the CD-Rom before connecting the device to your computer.
Insert Palm Treo 650 CD in the computer to begin installation. Click on English. Click on Next. Click on Next again to continue.
Click on I accept the license agreement and click on Next.
Click on Next.
Click on Next.
Click on Finish.
Click on Yes to Restart the computer.
After your computer restarts, the PalmOne Installshield wizard will start up again. Click on Next.
Enter your MAC ID and click on Next.
Click on Next.
Connect your Palm Treo 650 to the computer. Press the Hot Sync button as shown below.
Your computer will detect your Palm Treo 650 and install the drivers. The installation wizard will restart.
Click on Next. Uncheck the 20% palmOne store discount unless you want to utilize the offer. Click on Next.
The Installation wizard will start up after the registration process. Click on Next.
Install applications as needed such as Documents ToGo, Adobe Reader for Palm OS.
Corporate Time Installation on the Palm Treo 600
CorporateTime is a calendar and scheduling software application that can be used to schedule events, resources and tasks with users across McMaster University in order to coordinate meetings at convenient times, as well as receive reminders before scheduled meetings.
Corporate Time customers can access Corporate Time on their Palm. Login to the Corporate Time Download Manager at https://caldepot.mcmaster.ca/. Select and download the Oracle Sync Client.
