Correcting MUSS Security Certificate Error in Macintosh Mail

If you receive the following message while attempting to check your MUSS account with Macintosh Mail.

First, download the Verisign Certificate here. You can save it to your Desktop.

Now double click the verisign2028.cer file on your Desktop.

In the drop down menu, select Microsoft_Intermediate_Certificates. Then click OK.

You will be required to type in a username and password of an account with administrative access. Then click OK.

This will allow the verification of the MUSS security certificate. You should be able to open Mail without receiving the Unable To Connect error message.
