Turning on Windows XP Professional Firewall

The Windows XP Firewall is only available on Windows XP Service Pack 2. If your operating system is Windows XP Service Pack 1, you must run Windows Update to get the latest Service Pack and patches.

• Click on Start and select Control Panel

• . Double click Windows Firewall.

• Select the General tab. Click On. Then click OK.

The Windows firewall is now on .
