Configuring SyncJe on your BlackBerry

Find this icon for SyncJe on the BlackBerry Desktop. Click on it.

Click on the wheel to get the menu and selection Settings.

Contacts Foldername:	Do not check. This Option is NOT recommended.
Calendar Foldername: ./Calendar/Events	Make sure there is a check. Folder name must be exact: ./Calendar/Events
ToDo Foldername:./Calendar/Tasks	This is Optional. If you want tasks to sync with calendar put a check in this box and the folder name has to be exact: ./Calendar/Tasks
Auto Sync Every:0 Unit:Minute	Do not check. This Option is NOT recommended.
Sync Events Between: Days before sync date: 5 Days after sync date: 30
HTTP User Name: HTTP Password:	Not Required.
WAP MDS BIS	This may vary based on your device.
MDS WAP Gateway APN: WAP Gateway IP: WAP Gateway Port	This is not required.
Timeout, minutes 3 Skip saving attendees Max Blocksize(KB): 8 Debug log support email: support@nexthaus.com	Set the timeout to 3minutes Select Skip saving attendees Do not check Debug log option.

To Sync:

While in the SyncJe Client Click on the wheel to bring the menu up.

From the menu select Start Sync

Prompt for username and key for licensed software:

At this point you will be prompted with the message that you have 15 days left to evaluate the software.

If you have a username and key enter them in the proper fields and click on OK, next time you open this software to sync you will not be prompted for this information.

If you don’t have a username and key, just click OK to evaluate the software. At the end of the 15 days the software will remain on the unit but no longer function. You can now enter the username and password if it was purchased or remove the software from the unit.

You may get the following messages:

All https connections (will allow you to connect to other https connections like univmail without prompting you again)

Click on wheel to bring up menu and select Save.

The sync in a manual process and currently only syncs 14 days forward and 62 days back (total of 2 weeks.) This time span is set on the server (not on the client) and if it is changed, it changes for everyone who is using blackberry sync. The Sync will show the time, duration, location and any notes related to the meeting. It will not show the attendees.
