Creating a UnivMail Rule to Store Messages sent from the Blackberry

Note: This Rule keys on information sent in the Message Header and may change when RIM makes system changes.

Open a browser like Internet Explorer and logon to UnivMail at https://univmail.cis.mcmaster.ca with your MAC ID and password.

Click on Rules.

Enter a description for the new rule in the box beside Add Rule. Example: Blackberry Sent Messages.

Click on Add Rule.

Click on Edit beside the new rule created.

Under Data select Message ID
Under Operations select is
Under Parameter enter *cardhu_decombobulator_blackberry.rim.net*

Note: This is case sensitive. Do not enter spaces before or after the *

Click on Update

Under Data select Reply-To
Under Operations select is
Under Parameter enter your email_id@mcmaster.ca
Click on Update

Under Action select Store In
Click on Update

Under Action select Discard
Click on Update

Click on Logout
