
Web Analytics Program - Policies
Certificate of Completion
To earn a McMaster University Certificate of Completion in Web Analytics, individuals must successfully complete all program requirements, which includes completion of all five modules, participation in discussions, group work, and assignments. A letter grade will be assigned, and a grade of C- or higher will be required to be eligible for a Certificate of Completion in Web Analytics. There are no exemptions from course work and/or modules.
Transfer of credits from other academic intuitions, workshops or web analytics training/courses are not accepted. A Certificate of Completion is a non-academic certificate.
A Certificate of Completion is a non-academic certificate acknowledging that the recipient has completed a minimum of 30 hours of education and has successfully completed an evaluation component (exam, project, paper or presentation) that assesses the individual’s learning.
Absence from Module
If a participant misses a program module due to extenuating circumstances, he/she may contact the Program Manager to request permission to complete the missed module in the next program offering.
Approval is at the discretion of the Program Manager, but there will be no financial penalty or fee applied to this one transfer if approved. Please contact the Program Manager for details and to request approval.
The Program Manager must approve all transfers of modules to the next program offering. Not all requests will be approved.
Cancellations and Refunds
All withdrawal requests must be received in writing by CCE via fax (905-546-1690) or online.
Full refunds will be issued if a registered participant withdraws 20 business days or more before the program start date.
Participants who withdraw 19 - 7 business days before the program start date will receive a full credit towards the next available program delivery for themselves or an eligible substitute one time or a 70% refund. Additional requests to delay will not be refunded.
*No refunds or credits will be issued within 6 days or less from the program start date.
Substitution for an eligible participant is welcome at any time before the first session.
Inclusions
Tuition includes all instruction, individual advising/coaching and materials.
Program Facilitators
The facilitators are not able to approve special requests regarding tuition, missing time from class or other policy matters. Please direct all such queries in writing to the Program Manager.
