Project Management Policies
Absence from Module
Cohort participants must attend all modules in sequence. If a module is missed, a refund will not be issued. The Program Manager may approve transferring to another offering to complete the missed module if there are reasonable extenuating circumstances – but this is at the sole discretion of the Program Manager and decisions will be made on an individual basis.
If you have missed a module, or know you will need to miss a module please contact the Program Manager via email to discuss.
- The Program Manager must approve all transfers of modules to the next program offering. Not all requests will be approved.
- A fee of $150 will be applied to additional module transfer requests beyond the first transfer.
- Completion of the Project Management Program involves 100% attendance and participation in all six learning modules.

Tuition Assistance (for McMaster University employees)
Registration in this program will not be confirmed until tuition assistance has been confirmed, and the difference in tuition has been paid by the individual or their department (if there is a balance over and above what is covered by tuition assistance).
Step One:
Please complete and sign a tuition assistance form, and note the amount you are requesting on the form.
Step Two:
Review the request with your Supervisor, and request signature for your tuition assistance form.
Step Three:
Submit signed tuition assistance form to your designated HR Representative.
Step Four:
Join the applicant list via the Business Analysis page on the CCE site, under “Register Today”. Select “McMaster Employee” and enter requested information. This will let us know that you are interested in joining the program, and we will assume you have initiated your tuition assistance request with HR.
Step Five:
If you haven’t received a response from HR within 1-2 weeks, please follow up directly with your HR Representative by email. Please also contact the Program Associate for this program via email to provide an update on your status if the program start date is close.
Step Six:
Once you have received your tuition assistance form from HR, including confirmation of the amount you are requesting, you may submit to CCE via fax or email.
Step Seven:
To fully register, CCE will require your completed tuition assistance form (including confirmation from HR regarding the amount you are requesting). And you will also be required to provide the remaining balance, if applicable, at that time. The balance may be paid by you or your department if you are receiving partial sponsorship.
Please note that CCE Staff cannot confirm your confidential Tuition Assistance information or status for you. You are asked to deal directly with your HR Representative. At your sole discretion, you may also copy the Program Associate and/or Program Manager on your communications with HR as a means of updating us.
Program Instructors
Instructors are not able to approve special requests regarding tuition, missing modules, or missing time from class. Please direct all such queries in writing to the Program Manager.
Instructors for the Business Analysis Program may change from the information posted to the course website, or print catalogues/brochures. All instructors for the program are qualified subject matter experts.
Prerequisite Modules
Participants are required to successfully complete foundational Modules One prior to attending the other program modules. It is highly recommended, but not enforced, that Module Two be taken after Module One.
