Workshop Costs and Refund Policy
Public Workshop Fees
Workshop fees vary depending upon duration and materials. Specific workshop fees are noted in the current MVP flyer (see left hand link) and when shopping for courses in the registration portal. Participants receive materials, beverage refreshments, a light lunch and a certificate of attendance. Lunch is not included in half-day sessions. Tax is additional if applicable.
Full payment must be received in order to confirm a registration.
Individuals who do not attend a workshop and do not notify CCE in advance of their absence per the cancellation policy below, will not receive a refund.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Individuals must notify CCE in writing to withdraw from a workshop. Participants who withdraw or fail to find a substitute less than 5 business days before the start of their workshop will be charged a fee based on the workshop duration as follows: $50 -- half-day workshop; $100 -- one-day workshop; $150 -- two-day workshop.
McMaster employees: a departmental account number is required in the event that a cancellation fee is assessed.
Participants may withdraw or transfer to a different workshop 5 business days or more before the start of the workshop at no penalty.
Participant substitutions for the same workshop are welcome at anytime without penalty. CCE reserves the right to substitute qualified instructors due to unforeseen circumstances.
