Iron ore steel? Know your product.

Developed in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, this program is designed to give graduates a comprehensive background in steel manufacturing from extraction and refining to the manufacturing of ferrous products.

Who should take this program

• anyone who works in steel manufacturing or fabrication
• anyone working in steel production or sales

Students should register at least three weeks before classes begin.

Courses can be taken as part of the certificate program or individually.

• In class, evenings
• on-site contract training
• Online

McMaster has replaced ELM with a new course management system called Avenue to Learn. If any portion of your course will be delivered or available online through Avenue to Learn your instructor will notify you.
