Students wishing to pursue a Diploma in Management Studies with a concentration in Business Analysis or Project Management must complete the five management studies core courses through McMaster University plus 18 days of training in project management or business analysis through Global Knowledge.

Management Studies Core Courses

570-819/570-419 Introduction to Marketing I (3.0 units)

570-825/570-424 Business Administration I (3.0 units)

570-827/6570-427 Communications (3.0 units)

570-925/570-425 Introductory Financial Accounting (3.0 units)

974-901/974-401 Human Resources Management (3.0 units)

Global Knowledge courses
Students must complete at least 7 courses with 18 days of training in the applicable area of study.  Please consult Global Knowledge for additional details on the business analysis or project management courses.

Upon completion of the training through Global Knowledge, students will receive an Advanced Certificate of Completion.   The Advanced Certificate of Completion will be applied as a block of transfer credits (9.0 units) towards the Diploma in Management Studies.  Students must contact their Global Knowledge representative to have their transcript sent to Hedy Piekarczyk, McMaster University, CCE, 1280 Main Street West, Hamilton, ON L8S 4L8.
  
All Global Knowledge courses must meet the following criteria:

- the course must have been completed within three years; and
- a minimum final grade of B- (70%) must be achieved in each course.

Students may take the courses offered through McMaster and Global Knowledge concurrently if they wish.  No other transfer credits will be granted toward the Management Studies Diploma.

Course Registration

Students will register and pay for courses directly with the institution that administers them.
