Workshop Fee Structure

Workshop Fees

$85.00 + HST per hour – Microsoft Office Lab Tutorials

$129.00 + HST 1/2-day workshop

$329.00 + HST 1-day workshop

$599.00 + HST 2-day workshop

Materials or reference sheets are included in the workshop fee with the exception of the Microsoft Office Lab Tutorials.

HST is added to all registration fees with the exception of those covered by McMaster tuition assistance or a University account.  Some McMaster employees are eligible for tuition assistance, which covers the workshop fee.  If you do not know if you qualify, please check with Human Resource Services. 

Please Note: Enrolment in computer workshops is generally limited to 18 participants. Because classes fill up quickly, students are encouraged to enroll early and are NOT considered enrolled until payment has been received.

How to Register for Computer Training Workshops:

McMaster Employees

  • McMaster employees may register online,; or

  • McMaster employees should obtain supervisor's approval prior to registering.

Public Registrants

  • Participants from external organizations or the general public may register online; or
  • Fax in a registration form to 905-546-1690; or
  • Phone 905-525-9140 ext. 24321

Please Note: Online registration is not available for people paying by cheque or purchase order. Paper-based registrants are not confirmed until CCE processes your registration. Register online to ensure your spot in the workshop.

Individuals who do not attend a workshop and do not notify CCE in advance of their absence per the cancellation policy below, will not receive a refund.

Cancellation Policy

Participants who withdraw or fail to find a substitute less than 5 business days before the start of their course will be charged a fee based on the workshop duration as follows:

$50   --- half-day workshop

$100 --- one-day workshop

$150 --- two-day workshop

Note to McMaster employees:  a departmental account number is required in the event that a cancellation fee is assessed.

Participants may withdraw or transfer to a different workshop 5 business days or more before the start of the workshop at no penalty. Individuals must notify CCE in writing to withdraw from a workshop.

Substitutions for a paid registration are welcome at anytime. CCE reserves the right to substitute qualified instructors due to unforeseen circumstances.
