Pat Cross
Pat has extensive experience managing quality support and providing project management for a wide range of endeavours, especially software development. As a consultant, she advises on development processes, operation and support processes, verification processes, risk management and configuration management to high-tech systems, IT and general commerce companies. She also introduced, instituted and managed the discipline of Software Product Assurance at Spar Aerospace, Space Systems Specific for the International Space Station Robot Arms.
Pat has facilitated industry/government groups, and internal improvement groups in engineering, manufacturing and mining. She is passionate about the need to increase quality in Canadian companies, and is willing to go the extra mile to help students in their improvement journey.
Frederic D. Portoraro
Frederic is a Senior Consultant and Learning Technologies Architect advising organizations on the design, architecture and implementation of learning-oriented systems. He has extensive experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Business Vision, Business Requirements, Design, Implementation, Testing and Deployment.
Frederic has lectured and facilitated in academic and professional environments for more than a decade, and has published several academic books and papers in his field.
