To earn a Diploma in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analysis, you must complete five core Business Administration courses and the applicable Business Analysis course requirements through McMaster University or Global Knowledge. Upon completion of either program, students will receive 9 units of elective credit which will fulfill the Business Analysis concentration requirement.

The core Business Administration courses and the Business Analysis courses can be done concurrently. Please contact us to develop a study plan.

Business Administration Core Courses (required)

Core courses are available in in-class and instructor-led online formats.

• 570-819/419 Introduction to Marketing
• 570-817/440 Business Finance & Accounting
• 570-821/421 Organizational Behaviour
• 569-850/450 Business Communications

McMaster Program:

Students must complete 6 modules (18 days of training)

• Module 1: Business Analysis Essentials (2 days)
• Module 2: Requirements Development, Documentation and Management (4 days)
• Module 3: Use Case Modelling (3 days)
• Module 4: Business Process Analysis (4 days)
• Module 5: Data Modelling (3 days)
• Module 6: Effective Facilitation for Business Analysts (2 days)

Note: Module 1, Business Analysis Essentials, is a prerequisite for the other modules in McMaster's Business Analysis program.

Global Knowledge Program:

Students must complete the Advanced Certificate of Completion (7 courses, 18 days of training). The Global Knowledge program offers numerous courses to choose from - please visit the Global Knowledge website for a listing of courses.
