About the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE)

Mission:

To develop human potential, foster workforce learning and enhance careers.

The value we provide:

We enable students to advance their career skills and, through partnerships with McMaster’s Faculties, achieve university credit toward degrees. We act as a strategic partner with organizations to build workforce and leadership capabilities. We contribute to the community and society by encouraging lifelong learning and cultivating economic development.

Who we serve:

We serve a diverse regional (Hamilton, Ontario and the entire greater Toronto area) and national (Canada) population, including:

• recent university graduates desiring to enhance their degrees;
• individuals electing to upgrade in order to expand their career potential or change professions; and
• organizations pursuing employee development and performance excellence.

Services:

We fulfill our mission by delivering the following education and training programs:

• University Diplomas and Certificates;
• Professional development programs;
• Professional exam preparatory programs; and
• Customized contract training for employers.
