CMS Running

The campus Content Management System is up and running and it is performing very well.

Several departmental and faculty website administrators have attended tutorial sessions to learn to use the system. These administrators have also been provided with demonstration accounts in order to test the new system by themselves before making the switch to a live website.

Website administrators using the system now have been educating and training the content providers for their sites on how to use the new system properly and feedback has been extremely positive, especially towards its ease of use for content providers.

Major sites currently using the CMS included the main McMaster Homepages, the Faculty of Social Sciences administration pages as well as several of its departments, and CIS pages will be making the transition shortly as well.
