TFAIS
It is the intent of TFAIS (Trust Fund Accounting Information System) to administer trust fund accounts via access to donor/contact, terms and conditions, recipient and financial data. Trust fund data from areas of advancement, trust administrator, financial, student records and University person is to be linked in as seamless a manner as possible.
TFAIS OBJECTIVE
The main objective was to combine information currently existing on different systems within the University into a user friendly Oracle based system.
Therefore, TFAIS is connected to FAS, The Advance System, and Student Financial Aid system. FAS will show Financial Summary Data for each Trust Fund. The Advance System will show allocation code information attached to each Trust Fund and current donations waiting to be transferred to each Trust Fund if applicable. The Student Financial Aid system is showing recipient data for each Trust Fund where applicable.
All Trust Fund Operations Committee members will have access to all funds on TFAIS.
Trust Fund Administrators will have View and Report capability on their own Trust Funds. The Trust Fund Administrators will inform the Trust Fund Accounting Assistant of anyone who should also have access to their funds information.
Note: On TFAIS there are funds that are in the creation stage and these do not have an FAS Account #. Only TFAIS Superusers will have access to View, Update or obtain Reports including these funds.
