Financial Affairs

BMS is now Financial Affairs (May 2012)

Aligning our financial portfolio to the University's governance model, we identify our core mandate as supporting the Board of Governors and its sub-committees, and to lead the financial affairs of the University. In order to more directly identify this mandate, the name of Business Management Services is being replaced with Financial Affairs. Financial Affairs includes activities involving the receipt, management, investment, allocation and expenditure of funds. We provide: financial support (operator duty), internal controls (stewardship duty), performance oversight (strategist), and change leadership (catalyst).

Our Mission: We support and facilitate the financial affairs for the University and its communities with expertise and integrity.

Our Vision: We are the foundation for strategic and operational excellence in University financial affairs.

Our Values: Integrity, Respect and Trust.
