The Institutional Research and Analysis office is in charge of space auditing, update, allocation, and reporting about the space requirements throughout McMaster University. The IRA office works closely with the Council of Ontario Universities in order to determine student and faculty space needs in comparison with standards and other Ontario universities.

Space Reports

The Institutional Research and Analysis manages a database of the space usage on campus. The reports section provides an overview of how the space is utilized by McMaster University.

The COU reports provided are created on a triennial basis and submitted to the Council of Ontario Universities to asses and compare usage with other Ontario Universities.

In addition, there is an annual space report available.
