McMaster University undertook a collaborative campus-wide study to determine McMaster's physical space capacity and gain a clearer understanding of how space is used and activities are scheduled. McMaster Daily News article.

A Campus Capacity Steering committee was formed to lead the study and reports to the Provost and Vice-President of Administration.

The University has engaged Urban Strategies to lead this endavour. Work began in Fall, 2009 and the final report was released in Apirl 2011. An initial open house to introduce the study was held in January 2010.
